In the spring of 2026 , the workshop international scientific and technical workshop of the OCM project at the conference room of the Oceanographic Museum: it will address the theme of Mediterranean History and Cultural and Environmental Heritage, from the Maritime Republics to the technological revolutions of the present time, of which Monaco is a natural historical reference point. The workshop will articulate this theme through a focus on international history and Mediterranean cultural heritage, a second on environmental and maritime heritage, then a third on sports and technological challenges for sustainability in this area.

On September 15, 2025, from the Yacht Club de Monaco, the official starting and finishing point, Massimiliano Mordenti, official pilot of the Monegasque Powerboat Federation and founder - together with his wife Erminia Fezia Mordenti - of the Offroad Club Monaco, accomplished an unprecedented feat: the first UIM world record long-distance by jet ski powered 100% by bioethanol by connecting Monaco to the circumnavigation of Gallinara Island (Liguria, Italy) and then returning to the Principality.
